We Need Your Help

Almost 10 years ago today, with just a gas mask that we found in Ukraine, me and my best friend Jad started the prank channel HowAboutBeirut (you can read our full story here).

And today, me Alex, as the co-founder of this channel and also a proud Ukrainian who was born in Kyiv in 1995, have decided to start a fundraiser that will provide immediate assistance on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts in Ukraine.

Countless amounts of Ukrainians have left everything they know and love behind to seek safety. With nothing but what they could carry, these Ukrainian refugees are in need of housing, supplies and medical help right away.

Ukrainians are brave people who deserve our help in their time of need. This unfair attack on Ukraine and humanity at large is devastating to say the least.

I know this, because I’ve also lived through the 2006 war in Beirut, Lebanon. It was a complete nightmare for an 11-year old. So I can’t even start to imagine what young Ukrainians must be going through right now.

At this point, unfortunately, spreading laughter is not enough to save Ukrainians. We need your support to help them financially.

As a community, we are aiming to raise $1 million dollars. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those affected.

All money raised will benefit Flexport.org and Redcross.org.ua, two organizations that we chose who are actively on the ground providing quick immense help to those who need it most.
